Age 3½ Through Completed Grade 5 Invited to Learn About God's Ultimate Love & Care

GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. (May 8, 2019) – Intimidating, impersonal, hurried—that’s the way today’s world often feels to kids and adults alike. But there’s a God who knows everyone inside and out, and has the power to give people everything they need—they can trust Him! This is the premise of “Power Up” Vacation Bible School, which will be hosted by Calvary Lutheran Church, Golden Valley, Minn., during two weeks this summer (Monday-Friday). Calvary is located at 7520 Golden Valley Road.
The first week scheduled for June 3-7 will be geared for age 3½ through Kindergarten (must have turned age 3 on or before Jan. 1, 2019) and will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. daily.

“More than anything, we want kids to know that they are loved, they belong and they are not alone,” said Jason Roton, an associate pastor at Calvary who leads the church’s children, youth and family ministries. “This is a value Calvary keeps at the forefront every day of the year as we help kids navigate the complexities of life. We believe when kids know a God and a community who care about them, they are more likely to grow and thrive with confidence—both now and into adulthood.”
The mission of Calvary is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Established in 1946, Calvary offers five weekly worship services and a wide variety of activities for children, youth and adults. For more information, visit calvary.org or call 763-545-5659.
