Calvary Invites Public to Free Community Meal Every Thursday

Free Dinner Brings Together Hundreds of Friends & Neighbors Each Week

GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. (Dec. 29, 2015) – Over the past three years, Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, Minn., has entertained thousands of guests at its weekly Community Meal. It has brought together people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy good food and conversation across the dinner table. Beginning Jan. 7, the Community Meal will take place every Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Calvary, which is located at 7520 Golden Valley Road in Golden Valley.

Calvary’s Community Meal was born out of the church’s desire to serve the local community and to provide not only some good food, but also a place where people from all walks of life can enjoy each other’s company. More than 200 people currently attend each week; Calvary looks forward to welcoming many more guests into this special time together.
