Calvary Presents “Christmas with Selah” Concert

Award-winning Christian Singing Group to Perform in Twin Cities on Dec. 3

For the past 19 years, nationally known Christian singing group Selah has inspired and encouraged audiences with their timeless and worshipful songs of hope. Their mission will be no different this Christmas as they present “Christmas with Selah” on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m. (doors will open at 5:45 p.m.). The concert will take place at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn.

General admission is $20 per ticket (free for age 5 and under); groups of 10 or more may order tickets for $18 each. Visit calvary.org/selah to purchase tickets.

With more than 4 million album and single units sold, Selah has earned eight Dove Awards and a total of 20 Dove Award nominations from the Gospel Music Association (GMA). Made up of Todd Smith, Allan Hall and Amy Perry, the group produced their first album, “Be Still My Soul,” in 1999. That recording was followed by nine more records, their most recent being “You Amaze Us,” which was released in 2014.

Over the years, Selah’s hit singles have included “Wonderful, Merciful Savior,” “Press On,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Bless the Broken Road” and other radio standards. Their tours have taken them to Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and just about everywhere in between. On Dec. 3, Selah will perform with a 60-member multigenerational worship choir.
