CenterPoint Energy Completing Gas Main Replacement In 2021 PMP Project Area

CenterPoint Energy will begin a gas main replacement in the 2021 PMP project area beginning the week of March 22.

The project will entail 2–3 weeks of gas main replacement and 2–3 weeks of service gas replacement and will be completed by mid-April, weather permitting.

CenterPoint Energy will provide more information to property owners in the area and contact information for questions regarding the gas replacement project.

The City’s contractor, GMH Asphalt, will start construction later this spring on the 2021 PMP project. Contractor’s on public improvement projects will follow all necessary COVID-19 protocols.
