Chinese Exchange Students Visit Perpich Arts High School

Perpich Arts High School has welcomed 12 exchange students from Luoyang, China for a three-week visit.

Twelve exchange students from Luoyang #1 Senior High School arrived from China for a visit with students and instructors at Perpich Arts High School. They are now immersed in classes at the arts high school and have been visiting art museums, seeing performances, watching Twins games, visiting the University of Minnesota and TV station KSTP. They have visited Crosswinds Arts and Science School, a middle school focused on ethnic integration, art and science operated by Perpich in Woodbury. On weekends they have been staying with the families of Perpich students. They leave to return to China Oct. 8.

The exchange visit with with Luoyang will be returned by students from Perpich and Crosswinds later this year. The program is part of Perpich’s global program that includes trips to France, Costa Rica and Ghana.
