City of Golden Valley To Conduct Controlled Burn This Week

The City’s controlled burn at Bassett Creek Nature Area will take place in the next few days.

On the day of the burn, the City’s contractor, Applied Ecological Services, will go door to door to notify property owners immediately adjacent to the burn area. During the operation, residents may see and smell smoke. Although conditions aren’t expected to be windy, it is recommended to keep windows and doors closed if possible.
