Class sizes in Robbinsdale Area Schools once again lower than regional averages
Class sizes are once again lower at every K-12 grade level than the regional average, according to the results recent study.

Class sizes in Robbinsdale Area Schools are once again lower at every K-12 grade level than the regional average, according to the results of a recently released Metro ECSU (Educational Cooperative Service Unit) annual study of 40 Twin Cities school districts.
· At the elementary level, the district average is 23.10 per class, versus a metro average of 23.76.
· At the middle school level, the district average is 26.53 students per class, compared to a metro average of 27.50.

· Finally, at the high school level, the district average is 26.91 students per class, with a metro average of 27.85.
The overall K-12 average class size in the district is 26.23, compared to a metro average of 27.07, the study concluded. The study has been posted online at rdale.org.

“Having an adequate class size is a crucial factor in creating an effective learning environment, and we are pleased that because of the strong support of our community, we are able to maintain our current class sizes,” said Superintendent Aldo Sicoli.
