(Gallery) Concert Series Strums Opening Notes

The Golden Valley Orchestra performed at Brookview Park Monday night.

The Golden Valley Orchestra kicked off the first of six concerts held in  near the large picnic shelter on Monday night.

A large group of area residents came to enjoy the music on a beautiful late spring evening.  The free concerts, performed in the park's large picnic shelter, begin at 7 p.m. and last an hour to 90 minutes.

People are welcome  to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and refreshments to watch the shows. On rainy Mondays, the concerts will move to .
