The Cooper Hawks shut out the St. Louis Park Orioles 28-0 Friday night at Robbinsdale.
The Cooper Hawks football team came ready to play Friday night as they posted a 28-0 shutout over conference opponent St. Louis Park at home in Robbinsdale.
A strong running game and aggressive defense proved key to Friday night's victory over the Orioles.
Running back Billy Kellogg started the scoring for Cooper on a 15-yard rush. Kellogg would end the night with an impressive 196 rushing yards and a 53-yard receiving touchdown late in the game.

The Cooper Hawks now are 1-2 on the season and look to continue their win streak at North Branch next Friday night.
St. Louis Park, meanwhile, falls to 2-1 and will host Spring Lake Park next week.
