Cooper High School Selected to National Cohort

Staff and administrators will receive development training.

The following content was provided by the Robbinsdale School District:

Robbinsdale Cooper High School has been selected to participate in the 2012 Cohort of the Learning Forward’s Learning School Alliance. The Learning School Alliance is a collection of individual schools committed to collaborative professional development with educators in their school and those in other schools around the country and in Canada.

Robbinsdale Cooper High School was selected, in part, because of the dedication and work done so far to embed professional development into the staff’s daily work. This includes a strong focus on using data to drive instructional decision-making.

By participating in the one-year cohort, the school will strengthen its focus on student and educator learning. Both teachers and administration will receive training and coaching, and work with schools across the nation to share their goals, their progress, and their results.
