Calvary's Valentine's Event to Feature Videos, Stories & Other Entertainment Celebrating the Power & Blessing of Love

Conflict, conversation and a lot of comedy—come celebrate all that goes into marriage this Valentine’s Day Eve! Couples throughout the community are invited to the “Honoring Marriage” Dinner & Date Night at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. for $20 per couple. Visit calvary.org/marriage to register; reserve free childcare by calling 763.231.2949.
Hosted by the Rev. Jeff Krogstad, Calvary’s senior pastor, along with his wife Julie, the event will be an opportunity for couples of all ages and stages to enjoy a light-hearted program featuring videos, stories and a chance to connect with each other. The evening will also include a three-course meal of champagne chicken, oven-roasted potatoes, garden salad, rolls with sweet cream butter, assorted cookie and bar bites, and beverages.
“We wanted to offer a date night that is easy and affordable for couples to attend, especially on a weekend when so many people are celebrating the power and blessing of love and marriage,” said Krogstad. “We look forward to treating them to a fun and meaningful time together. If they have kids, we have that covered too!”
