Covenant Village of Golden Valley Presents "Are You Being Fleeced?"

Senior adults are more at risk of identity theft than any other age group, according to the National Crime Prevention Council, Learn how to safeguard yourself and your finances during “Are You Being Fleeced?”--- an educational workshop hosted by Covenant Village of Golden Valley, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administerd by Covenant Retirement Communities. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, March 20 at 1 p.m.

Kevin E. Lawson is a certified financial planner with Covenant Trust Company, Golden Valley, Minn. He will highlight common scams used to target senior adults, and then offer tips to help reduce the possibility of being targeted. Learn red flags to look for and how to build checks and balances into your finances to avoid being fleeced.
