You can listen to Commander Cody and the Groove Merchants this weekend and then head up to Gooseberry Falls.

DULUTH—One of the biggest blues festivals in the Midwest takes place this weekend in Duluth. The 23rd Annual Bayfront Blues Festival runs through Sunday.

Each year some of the area's top blues musicians appear during the weekend. In past years, notables such as John Lee Hooker, John Mayall and Johnny Lang have performed.

This year’s headliners will be Commander Cody, Mick Sterling, Big Walter Smith and the Groove Merchants and Tommy Castro. There will be plenty of food, beverages and merchandise for sale.
