Expert to Present "The Shifting Tides of Global Terrorism"

Covenant Village of Golden Valley will host internationally recognized counterterrorism specialist Jarret Brachman, Ph.D. as he presents “The Shifting Tides of Global Terrorism” on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. Covenant Village of Golden Valley is a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities.

Brachman will share his experience and insights on counterterrorism and violent extremist movements. He’ll also discuss what these may mean to all of us in today’s world. He is author of “Global Jihadism: Theory and Practice” and is regularly featured on various media outlets, including NPR, CNN and the New York Times. Brachman served as a Graduate Fellow at the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center, and was the first director of research at West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center.
