- Why Go: Well-behaved pooches are encouraged to grab their proof of vaccination and favorite owner for an hour of socializing.
- Price: $10 for the public, $7 for enrolled training school students
- When: From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday
- Where: 7950 Wesley Drive, Golden Valley
- Why Go: The MOMS Club of Golden Valley invites you to its large multi-family sale, including scads of kids' and household items. A detailed list of sale items can be seen here.

- Where: Gale Woods Farm (7210 County Road 101 Ext, Minnetrista)
- Why Go: Head over to the farm’s annual fall festival featuring artwork and farm products. You can witness border collies in action, enjoy the fall colors on a wagon ride, see sheep being sheared, tour the gardens and orchard, and make a wool craft to take home.
