Golden Valley City Cancels Or Modifies Many Summer Parks And Recreation Programs

The City is also canceling many recreation programs as well as converting others to a virtual or a modified in-person format.

To help limit the spread of COVID-19, the City of Golden Valley is cancelling many large, public parks and recreation gatherings this summer.

Cancellations include Concerts in the Park, Music on the Patio at Three One Six Bar + Grill, youth and senior field trips, Water Days, Puppet Wagon shows, Penny Carnival, and more. The City is also canceling many recreation programs as well as converting others to a virtual or a modified in-person format.

All participants registered for canceled programs will receive full refunds. If a program is moving ahead as scheduled but in a modified format, all participants will be notified of the change via email.
