The Golden Valley City Council is looking for residents to serve on the City’s Advisory Boards and Commissions. Each group will have at least one vacancy May 1, 2020 and the deadline to apply is Tue, March 31, 4:30 pm.

The City’s Boards and Commissions are advisory bodies to the City Council, charged with the responsibility of researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on related issues. Open positions are as follows:
- Board of Zoning Appeals
- Commissioner (three positions available)
- Youth Commissioner (one position available)
- Civil Service Commission
- Commissioner (one position available)
- Environmental Commission
- Commissioner (three positions available)
- Youth Commissioner (one position available)
- Human Rights Commission
- Commissioner (one position available)
- Youth Commissioner (two positions available)
- Human Services Commission
- Commissioner (three positions available)
- Youth Commissioner (one position available)
- Open Space and Recreation Commission
- Commissioner (three positions available)
- Youth Commissioner (one position available)
- Planning Commission

You must be a resident of Golden Valley to apply; however, applications for the Golden Valley Human Services Commission are also accepted from Golden Valley business and community organization members.
