Golden Valley City Will Begin Street Sweeping This Week

The City will begin street sweeping this week to clean up winter debris, remove pollutants, and protect our waterways.

Crews will begin by primarily focusing on priority areas that drain directly into Bassett Creek or Sweeney Lake, so debris doesn’t end up in the local waterways.

From there, crews will work through the city from one end to the other. The entire city usually takes about three weeks to sweep.
