City crews have been anti-icing roads since early this morning in preparation of tonight’s snowstorm. Plowing efforts will begin at 2 am Wed, Nov 27 and will continue to the morning rush hour. Crews will begin clearing sidewalks at 6 am after roads have initially been plowed. Roads will be plowed a second time after a majority of the storm has past.

As always, the City is asking residents to be safe while driving and not follow the snow plow too close or try to pass the plow. It’s best to avoid the route of a snow plow all together, so the job can be done more efficiently. The City is also asking residents to be patient. Plowing the entire City, even with a large crew like in Golden Valley, takes quite a while. Plow drivers work as fast as conditions and other drivers allow.
