Golden Valley Gets 'Mighty Tidy' This Weekend

Are you trying to get rid of an old couch or TV that doesn't work anymore? If you can't donate it, the city has a way for you to finally dispose of it.

Golden Valley's annual is this Saturday, Oct. 15.  The day was created to give people a monitored site to dispose of items like these: old mattresses and sofas, broken bicycles, ancient appliances, unwanted tires, and outdated electronics.

takes place at the small shelter at from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

The city is also looking for volunteers to load a truck with useable furniture that will be donated to a local nonprofit.
