The Golden Valley Historical Society recently received an Award of Excellence from the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) for its No Place Like Home exhibit.

The exhibit opened in 2018 and features the history of suburban Golden Valley. Displays include Golden Valley High School, Ewald Dairy, Golden Valley Public Safety, and more.
The AASLH awards program was initiated in 1945 to establish and encourage standards of excellence in the collection, preservation, and interpretation of state and local history throughout the United States.
