At its Dec 3 meeting, the Golden Valley City Council approved the Golden Valley Human Services Commission’s allocation of $78,500 to 12 local human service organizations serving the Golden Valley community.

Organizations include Community Mediation ($3,000), Crisis Nursery ($5,000), HUG ($5,000), Northwest Suburban Dinner at Your Door ($9,000), PRISM ($20,000), ResourceWest ($5,000), Senior Community Services HOME Program ($7,000), Senior Community Services Outreach ($5,000), Sojourner Project ($7,500), The Bridge For Youth ($5,000), and Tree House ($3,000), and YMCA-New Hope ($4,000).
