Time: 5 p.m. Tuesday

Last meeting: The Wildcats beat the Hawks 2-0 last year in their only matchup.

On the line for the Hawks:

This is a chance for Cooper to get their first win of the year. They don’t want to dig too big of a hole this early in the year.

On the line for the Wildcats:

This is a chance for Chisago Lakes Area to stay undefeated and pick up another conference win.

Players to watch:

Matthew Riley (G)—Hawks

  • Riley is a senior leader of the Hawks. The players will look toward him for guidance and he needs to step up and lead the Hawks.

Kyle Wilkerson (D)—Wildcats

  • Wilkerson will need to be on his “A” game if the Wildcats are going to stay undefeated. He will need to keep Cooper from streaking down the field.

Hawks win if...

They are able to slow down the Wildcats' offensive attack. The weather forecast calls for cool temps, so the defense should be able to go all out for the entire game without fatigue being an issue.

Wildcats win if...

They don’t let playing on the road affect them. They are 3-0 this year and look to stay that way. They beat the Hawks last year and they will know Cooper is out for revenge. The senior leaders on this team need to carry the Wildcats if they want to go 4-0.
