Golden Valley Phoenix Soccer Team Wins A Game At Schwan's USA Cup
The boys U12 team tied two games this weekend.
The Golden Valley Phoenix youth soccer team won one game and tied two during the Schwan’s USA Cup tournament at Blaine’s National Sports Center.
The Phoenix beat the Lakehead Express 4-1. The team tied in games against Moorhead and West Fargo; both of those games ended 2-2.
The USA Cup weekend tournament hosted boys and girls teams, both nationally and internationally, from ages U9 to U19. Teams competed from Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Texas, Iowa, New York, Missouri, Utah, California and Alaska.
