Golden Valley Runners Finish Boston Marathon
Three runners from Golden Valley raced in the Boston Marathon.
Runners from Golden Valley took to the streets this Monday to race in the Boston Marathon. The 116th annual race was one of the hottest on record with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s.
Race officials say 27,000 people signed up for the race, but about 4,000 people opted out of the race because of the heat.
Despite the high temps, three people from Golden Valley crossed the finish line.
