Vikings Stadium Bill Gains Momentum

The Minnesota Viking stadium bill has suddenly been revived at the capitol. A week ago the bill seemed to be dead, now it is picking up steam.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell came to Minnestoa a few days ago and met with state leaders and since then the bill has passed four committees.

The Minneapolis City Council also showed its support, voting 7-6 to support Mayor R.T. Rybak's Vikings stadium plan.

Lawmakers predict the proposal for the nearly $1 billion stadium could hit the Senate and the House in the next few days.
