Minnesota high schools get a B rating on money matters

Our high school kids deserve a better money and credit management education

The 2015 National Report Card on State Efforts to Improve Financial Literacy in High Schools was released recently. Here is a MarketWatch story on the report.

Minnesota earned a B rating. Only 5 states were rated an A.

As a parent of two young 20-year-olds in college, I think that Minnesota high school kids deserve better money, finance and credit card education in high school.

Kids are supposed to get their money and finance education from their parents. Seriously? It is no wonder college debt is the highest it has ever been.
