National Christian Recording Artist Jason Gray to Perform April 21
Calvary Lutheran Church Hosts Concert for Just $5 Per Person, Free for Students

GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. (April 6, 2017) - National Christian recording artist Jason Gray admits that his latest albums were written during the hardest years of his life, but his work also offers evidence of the real and redemptive power of God. The public is invited to see Gray in concert at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn., on Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
General admission tickets are available for $5 per person by going to calvary.org/concert or by visiting Calvary’s Information Center on site. Students may attend the concert free of charge by picking up their tickets at Calvary before April 21 (no online or will-call reservations); students must present a valid student ID for eligibility. Free childcare will be available for children age 5 and under during the concert.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to benefit local food shelves, as well as donations of gently used jeans to be used in creating shoes for Sole Hope.

Gray has emerged as a songwriter of extraordinary depth. The Minnesota native is steadily drawing legions of fans who recognize his ability to connect with listeners on an emotional level, offering healing and hope. His 2011 release, A Way to See in the Dark, was named Album of the Year by critics and garnered three top-five radio singles. His other albums include All the Lovely Losers (2007), Everything Sad Is Coming Untrue (2009), Christmas Stories: Repeat the Sounding Joy (2012), Love Will Have the Final Word (2014) and Where the Light Gets In (2016).
