National Christian Singer & Songwriter Peder Eide to Perform Dec. 12

For national Christian singer and songwriter Peder Eide, it is about more than being a great musician. Audiences across the nation also enjoy his inspiration and warmth, especially during the Christmas season. The public is invited to experience Eide’s annual Christmas tour on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn.

Tickets may be purchased online at calvary.org/Christmas; the cost is $12 per person ($15 at the door). Discounted rates for groups of 10 or more are available by calling 763-231-2956.

The concert—titled “This Christmas”—will feature Eide’s full band, as well as selections with the Calvary Choir.

Eide’s latest release is a “Christmas card of music” featuring “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” “O Holy Night,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Christmastime Is Here/Noel” and “This Christmas.” His Christmas album “Perfect Surprise” (2009) was selected by USA Today as one of its featured holiday selections. Eide has produced a total of 12 albums and, over the past several years, his music has received consistent airplay and support from more than 200 radio stations across the country.
