Night to Unite August 7

Next Tuesday is Night to Unite. This annual event is a time for neighbors to get together to strengthen the community. The idea is to get to know the people on your block, become friends, and keep an eye out for one another.

The Golden Valley Police Department says a strong neighborhood is the key to crime prevention. Officers will stop to several block parties, along with some of the city’s firefighters.

In the past about 75 separate parties have been held in Golden Valley.
