Pathways to Career Fair offers career exploration opportunities
June 11 to offer current and former students, families and community members an opportunity to explore numerous career pathways and learn

Robbinsdale Area Schools will be hosting the Pathways to Career Fair from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, to offer current and former students, families and community members an opportunity to explore numerous career pathways and learn more about the various post-secondary options available to further an education or advance in a career. There is no charge to attend the event, which will be at Robbinsdale Cooper High School.
There will be immediate employment opportunities with local business partners such as Hy-Vee, located in New Hope. Local community and technical colleges will provide information about their degree programs and guidance with registration. Staff will be available to assist families in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Attendees are advised to bring their tax information if they are interested in getting assistance with the FAFSA. Food and beverages will be served while supplies last.
Summit Academy OIC, a nonprofit educational and vocational training center that prepares and empowers adults to become educated, employed, contributing members of their communities, will host hourly information sessions starting at noon. Summit offers 20-week training programs in construction and health care, as well as PSEO options for current high school students.
