Quilt Facts, Folklore & FABRICation at Covenant Village of the Golden Valley

Covenant Village of Golden Valley, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, will welcome the Anoka County Historical Society on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m.

One of the society’s historians will share the real story behind the quilting folklores and fabrications when she presents “Quilt Facts, Folklore & FABRICation.” Learn about the history and traditions of quilt making. Sift through actual quilt squares, small quilts and period patterns. Admire the detailed colored photos of antique quilts preserved at the Anoka County Historical Society.
