Residents Can Absentee Vote By Mail Now In Golden Valley

If you apply more than 46 days before the election, your ballot will be mailed to you at least 46 days prior to the election.

Absentee Voting by mail is available now for the August 11 State Primary. In-person Absentee Voting at City Hall begins Aug 4.

To vote by mail, apply online or print and complete an absentee ballot application (PDF) and return it to Hennepin County Elections either in person, by mail, email, or fax.

If you apply more than 46 days before the election, your ballot will be mailed to you at least 46 days prior to the election. If you apply within 46 days of the election, your ballot will be mailed to you within a day or two of your application being received.

Once you’ve completed your ballot, return it by mail or in person. For the 2020 State Primary, absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before election day (8/11/2020) and received by 8/13/2020.
