Robbinsdale Cooper Softball Team Falls to Undefeated Hopkins 7-2

The Softball team faced a tough opponent in undefeated on Monday afternoon. The Hawks got on the board early when Nathalee Boissiere singled to score Casey Anderson in the top of the third.

However, Lauren Feagler of Hopkins homered to tie the game 1-1 after three innings. Cooper again took the lead in the fourth innning when Casey Anderson sacrificed to score another run for the Hawks. 

This was the last lead Cooper would have in the game as Hopkins scored three more runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, and Lauren Feagler homered again in the sixth to make the final 7-2. Feagler also pitched and is credited with the win for Hopkins while Casey Anderson of Cooper receives the loss.

Robbinsdale Cooper's next game will be Tuesday April 19th agains Columbia Heights.
