The very popular program Passport to the Arts is ramping up in the .  Passport is a program sponsored by the district’s Comprehensive Arts Planning Program (CAPP) designed to get students and their families out to see performances and arts events in the district.   This is the third year of the program.

Last week, all students in grades 1 through 5 received a Passport in their music class.  When students attend various arts events in the district, they will collect stickers in their Passport.  The Passport provides an opportunity for students and their families to reflect on the events as well.  There’s also a “Wild Card” space in the Passport for an event that is outside the district, such as a local theatre production.  Students who participate are eligible for prizes near the end of the school year.
