School District Seeks Applicants for Financial Council

The School Board of Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking applicants for its Financial Advisory Council. Members of the Financial Advisory Council serve three-year terms; there are two open positions.

The purpose of the Financial Advisory Council is to provide financial advice and support to the Robbinsdale Area School Board and senior administration. The Council uses the district’s financial planning model to review revenue and expenditures and provide insights as to the overall fiscal condition of the district. The Council also makes recommendations to the Robbinsdale Area School Board on future budget targets and assumptions, and provides an annual update to the school board and community.

Preferred applicant qualifications include experience in finance, accounting and/or business. Applicants must also have the ability to declare no conflicts of interest.
