Slash Your Trash And Take Hennepin County’s Zero Waste Challenge
The six-week challenge runs May 17–June 27 and has more than 100 actions to choose from in eight categories.

Hennepin County is looking for residents to participate in the Online Zero Waste Challenge and take an in-depth look at the goods they buy and the waste created in hopes of finding new opportunities to recycle and reduce waste.

The six-week challenge runs May 17–June 27 and has more than 100 actions to choose from in eight categories. Check off the actions you already take, then select up to five one-time actions and five daily actions to make progress throughout the challenge.
Once the challenge starts, participants will be able see the impacts of their actions and connect with others who are taking the same steps to reduce waste.
