Sweeney Lake Water Quality Improvement Project Set To Begin On October 26

The Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission’s (BCWMC) Sweeney Lake Water Quality Improvement Project is scheduled to begin Oct 26 and will take up to 5 days, weather dependent.

The project includes the application of liquid aluminum sulfate (alum) to the lake’s surface, and residents can expect to see Solitude Lake Management boats and personnel on the lake during application days.
