Sweep Up Your Leftover Salt To Help Protect Local Waterways In Golden Valley

Salt used to melt ice on roads and sidewalks has the ability to pollute local waterways as it runs through sewers and into streams. The Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC) and the City want to remind residents to sweep up leftover salt after the snow and ice have melted.
