Take Hennepin County’s Stop Food Waste Challenge
The challenge will last from September 14 until October 11.

Hennepin County is asking its residents to take the Stop Food Waste Challenge to ultimately reduce the amount of waste you generate and address climate change.

The Challenge will help you learn more about food waste, commit to taking action, and provide you support and resources along the way. It has more than 40 actions to choose from in five categories. Check off the actions you already take, then select up to five one-time actions and five daily actions to track your progress on during the 4-week challenge.
Registration opens Aug 31. Once you sign up and create your profile, track your progress during the four-week challenge. The challenge will last Sept 14–Oct 11. If you miss the registration period, take steps on your own to help reduce your food waste.
