Take The Medley Park Stormwater Feasibility Study Open House Survey In City Of Golden Valley

The City is looking for public input on a proposed stormwater improvements in Medley Park. Residents are asked to watch the open house then take a survey.

The Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC), in partnership with the City of Golden Valley, is studying options for providing stormwater improvements in the western portion of Medley Park to benefit the surrounding area and protect and improve downstream waters like Medicine Lake.

Primary benefits of the project include:

• improving the water quality of Medicine Lake and nearby surface waters
• reducing flood damage to homes and infrastructure
• protecting public health and safety
• preserving economic value

After watching the open house, residents should take a short survey. The survey will close Dec 18, 2020.
