Over the last month I have been out and about in Golden Valley meeting people and hearing from them what they hope to see in the new city council. The last month of work was highlighted this week with the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum. This was on Channel 12 and you can watch the replays there as well. As one of the lesser known candidates it was a great opportunity for me to get in front of a lot of folks at one time. After the event I received some great feedback and was invited to put out some yard signs.
Over the next several weeks I hope to meet more of you as I am out there knocking on the doors of your neighborhoods. Those topics include local property taxes, light rail, development (or redevelopment), property rights and keeping the positive momentum that is driving Golden Valley.
