Work Continues On Winnetka Ave In Golden Valley For Centerpoint’s 2020 Belt Line Project

CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractors have been making significant work on 2020 Belt Line Project. Stay informed by signing up for project updates on CenterPoint Energy’s Construction Zone website.

Last week crews replaced a natural gas main on Winnetka Ave between 23rd Ave N to Medicine Lake Rd and on 23rd Ave N, east and west of the Winnetka Ave intersection. Crews will return to the area in the next few weeks to connect the service lines to these new mains.

This week, crews are replacing the natural gas main on Winnetka Ave from 32nd Ave to 20th Ave. Traffic is shifted to the northbound lanes, as the southbound lanes are closed.

Next week, work will continue south toward Medicine Lake Rd and merge with the other crew, working north from Medicine Lake Rd.
