Four were named Commended Students and four reached the highly competitive Semifinalist level, putting Hopkins teens among a select group nationwide who can now compete for prestigious college scholarships.
   

• Parish community dinners: Catholics and their neighbors share food, faith, fellowship (thecatholicspirit.com) — St. Gabriel the Archangel in Hopkins is launching monthly parish family dinners and expanding free takeout meal programs, inviting anyone in the community to share food, prayer, and conversation. Similar dinners at parishes in Stillwater, Maplewood, Crystal, St. Paul, and Mahtomedi show how churches across the metro are responding to food insecurity and loneliness with regular meals, fellowship, and practical support.
