• All-electric homes concept in Hopkins moves ahead following community feedback (hometownsource.com) — A city-owned parking lot at 102 10th Ave. N. in Hopkins is being transformed into Alinea, a 10-home all-electric villa-style development with potential accessory dwelling units and strong sustainability features. After extensive community feedback, the Hopkins City Council unanimously approved key zoning and site-plan steps, with final plat and purchase details still ahead. Construction is anticipated to start in spring, adding new ownership housing near downtown.
