Luther College Announces 2012 Fall Semester Dean's List

Kevin Kraus, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Luther College, announced the 2012 fall semester Dean's List.

• Matt Beniak a Luther College senior from Eden Prairie, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. Beniak is the son of David Beniak and Janet Schmidt.
• McKenna Campbell-Potter a Luther College freshman from Eden Prairie, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. Campbell-Potter is the daughter of Kenneth Potter and Debra Potter-Campbell.
• Alison Vuolo a Luther College sophomore from Eden Prairie, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. Vuolo is the daughter of Steve and Suzanne Vuolo.
• Blake Wragge a Luther College sophomore from Eden Prairie, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. Wragge is the son of Bradley and Kari Wragge.
• Patrick O'Keefe a Luther College senior from Hopkins, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. O'Keefe is the son of John and Sara O'Keefe.
• Ashley Urspringer a Luther College junior from Hopkins, Minn., has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List. Urspringer is the daughter of Matthew and Suzanne Urspringer.

This fall's list includes 797 students; 149 freshmen, 207 sophomores, 177 juniors and 264 seniors. To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).

Luther is a selective four-year college located in northeast Iowa. The college has an enrollment of 2,500 students and offers a liberal arts education leading to the bachelor of arts degree in 60 majors and pre-professional programs.
