Toy Chest - Toys Needed!

ResourceWest is collecting toys for local children of low-income families - the need is high and our Toy Chest supply is low.

Parents still continue to struggle with increasing housing, energy, transportation, and food costs coupled with lower household income making the family budgets treacherously thin and parents have less money available for holiday gifts for their children. Over the last few years some of our supporters have become our clients and we welcome them with open arms.

We are here to assist anyone in need. If you need assistance, please call our office at 952-988-5350. People accessing our programs are our neighbors, and we are proud of how our community always comes together to help each other in tough times.

Toy Chest benefits children from Hopkins and Minnetonka School Districts. Each year we give toys to approximately 1,200 children from struggling families in our community. This year, distribution of the toys starts Monday, Dec 17th and continues through Friday, Dec 21st.

Help make the Holidays a little brighter for children in our community ~ please consider helping your neighbors who are in need this year by dropping off a new unwrapped toy for children up to age 17 at one of our many community drop sites.
