Big Night for Southwest Light Rail Thursday

Planners will be presenting information on the major remaining issues.

Residents should learn some key details about big Southwest Light Rail Transit issues Thursday.

At a joint meeting of the community and business advisory committees, planners will present cost estimates of the three main issues facing the project: the what to do with freight rail, the Eden Prairie alignment and the where to build the operation and maintenance facility that will serve trains along the corridor.

The meeting takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St. W., St. Louis Park).
