Police arrested masseuses at two different massage parlors after receiving an anonymous letter accusing the establishments of allowing prostitution on the premises. The establishments are set to go before the City Council

A Hopkins woman was charged with child neglect after police said she left her two children, ages 18 months and 2 years, home alone while she drove drunk to a fast-food restaurant. After the woman's arrest, officers found the children at the Oak Park Lane home in their cribs, with the youngest child’s leg stuck between two slats in the crib, according to charging documents.

The Metropolitan Council released a nine-minute video that offers a guided tour of the route. Using Google Earth, the video takes viewers along the route approved to enter preliminary engineering—from Mitchell Station in Eden Prairie to Target Field Station in Minneapolis. Along the way, narration describes the stops, new infrastructure and other key features of the route.
