Bites Nearby: Scumptious Sundaes and More at Shady Oak Grill

A part of Tuttle's Bowling in Hopkins, the Shady Oak Grill offers many bar items, as well as yummy sundaes and weekend breakfast options.

While is well known as a great place to bowl, the Shady Oak Grill located next door to Tuttle’s lanes is also a treasure. 

Open 7 days a week, including weekend breakfasts, Shady Oak Grill can seat up to 100 people and serves lunch and dinner every day. Also, now that the weather has changed to the warmer side, check out Shady Oak Grill’s highly sought outdoor patio for spring, summer and fall dining. The patio has a roof, so no need to wear sun block—just enjoy the fresh air and the view.

Shady Oak Grill serves a weekend breakfast menu that includes breakfast favorites like biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, made to order omelets, pancakes, waffles and other egg dishes. Their lunch and dinner menu consists of sandwiches, soups, salads, wings, scrumptious pizzas and a kids menu. After dinner, pick from one of the many sundaes or ice cream cones offered to complete your eating experience.

Shady Oak Grill also has a great happy hour Monday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursdays 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The happy hour menu features $3 appetizers—ranging from personal pan pizzas, onion petals, chicken wings in a variety of flavors, nachos and even mini hot dogs. 

Shady Oak Grill offers a party room with room for as many as 50 people with a private bar. And don’t forget to head next door to Tuttle’s and work off the calories after you're done eating.
